Welcome to Winter: Hot chocolate. The holidays. Time with your loved ones. And… dry skin.
As I’ve gotten older and (I’d like to think) wiser, I’ve learned to take care of my skin… and I want to share my routine with you.
I have worked out a skincare deal just in time for the holidays for Blonder Ambitions readers (I appreciate you so!). Continue reading and find your holiday code at the bottom.
Once a week, I spend one hour “masking.” I combine three different masks. I’ve found that this combination gets rid of dry winter skin, diminishes blackheads and pore size, and fades wrinkles (it’s amazing how important the concept of “anti-aging” becomes when you hit 31… tip to the younger ladies: start your anti-aging routine now… your skin will thank you later).
Step 1 in my skin routine: I use a Glacial Marine Mud Mask to draw impurities and toxins out of the skin.
Ready for some science? The basic molecular structure of this mask is negatively charged. The positive ions that naturally occur in the mud and positively charged impurities bind to the mud’s negative charge and can then be rinsed away.
In basic language? This mask draws out all of the bad stuff. What does that mean for you? Less breakouts. Fewer blackheads. Smaller pores.
Onto Step 2…
Step 2 of my skin routine: I use a unique mask (haven’t found anything else like it out there) called Face Lift with Activator… and the results are nuts.
It uses old school concepts (egg whites and corn starch) in conjunction with new school ingredients (aloe and elastin) to deliver immediate results.
The way I describe it: it’s like a 10 hour botox effect (without the needles or poison). It hides the fine lines that tend to become more prominent during winter months and keeps skin taut.
And the final step…
Step 3 of my skincare routine (and my favorite step of the routine): the Creamy Hydrating Masque.
This thing is chock full of saccharide isomerate (more science... simply put: it binds moisture to the skin), cactus, pine cone, chamomile, lavender, and sage extracts. This mask makes my skin soft, dewy, and it. just. glows.
The final result… a makeup free face that is soft, tight, and blemish free. That makes me a very happy girl during the holidays. Less time putting on makeup = more time holiday shopping and sipping eggnog. Ready for your holiday shopping? Keep reading…
If you’re looking to purchase the Glacial Marine Mud Mask $28, Face Lift with Activator $34.50, or the Creamy Hydrating Masque $19, make sure to enter the code EXCLUSIVE20 at checkout.
