I recently had such a lovely picnic with a friend of mine. We spent an entire afternoon in the park laughing, eating, and enjoying the sunshine. There’s something frivolous {and a bit decadent} about packing up such fancy foods in a tiny wicker basket. I want to bring back the picnic. On second thought, I’m not sure that picnicking was ever truly “in”… so, instead of a comeback, let’s start a movement. Make picnicking an occasion with loads of unexpected color and character {in your quilt, on your plates, and with your glassware}. Delicious cheeses, the right tools, and a glass {or two} of bubbly… all wrapped up in style… what’s not to like?
